Whether you are getting married or considering a business partnership, background checks and asset searches are effective tools in confirming information and validating an individual’s reputation. It is critical that the information you receive from a background check is current and has been thoroughly reviewed by a professional investigator.
Utilizing our own in-house computer system, Martin Investigative Services has constant access to updated information from cities, counties and state records throughout all fifty states. Once gathered, the information is reviewed by our investigators who have years of experience with the DEA, FBI and IRS and Secret Service.
There are three professional and ethical approaches available to find civil and criminal records as well as financial data, employee information, hidden assets and a person’s true character.
The Basic Background/Asset Search identifies what the person owns. All that is needed is an individual’s name to find out his/her property, involvement with corporations, fictitious business names and limited partnership affiliations.
To uncover a person’s financial information, a Consumer Public Filing Index is used to identify bankruptcies, tax liens, notices of defaults, judgments and IRS problems. The Uniform Commercial Code helps find debtor and secured party information. Experiences in the courts both criminal (misdemeanors and felonies) and civil (plaintiff and defendant) are also obtainable. The information gathered from these searches is compiled into a court-ready document for the client.
Under strict compliance of rules and regulations, such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, a Bank Search indentifies the person’s savings and checking account information. Also conducted under the same high level of compliance, a Stocks and Bonds Search is a nationwide effort to locate an individual’s stocks, bonds and securities.
