THE CASE OF THE ROCK STAR SHELL GAME: CELEBRITY SURVEILLANCE

The wife of a legendary rock star retained us to perform surveillance on him at a concert in LA, to determine if he was having an affair.

After the show, he got the best of us with a surprise shell game.

We eventually caught up with him in Miami and got the evidence the wife was looking for.

Being based in Southern California, our office is often contacted about doing surveillances, either on people in the entertainment industry or sports figures.

I can remember one case recently of a very famous rock star, whose wife asked us to follow him when he was doing a concert in Los Angeles.

We thought this would be a fairly straightforward, simple surveillance, and we put only a couple people out there to watch him, figuring that we would catch him in the hotel.

[When he came out of the concert,] We were very, very surprised to see 5 black Cadillac SUVs. None of them had plates, they were all the same color, same make and same model. This particular star came out, and he stood between the third and fourth vehicle. And then his entourage all entered the five vehicles, we had no idea which one he was in, and all five vehicles went different directions.

And needless to say, we were left there with dropped mouths, and the surveillance was pretty much over.

We ultimately did catch him down in Miami, where he was not as careful, and unfortunately for him that marriage ended in divorce.
